Where to Find Limestone in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
You can gather Limestone easily by following the water levels starting from the Wizard in the Dowdun Reach region. While it isn’t the rarest material in the game, it does have a specific tool requirement that might trip up some casual players. You’ll need to make sure you have a Mithril pickaxe equipped before you head out; anything less won’t be able to break the nodes. Once you have the right gear, the process is very straightforward and relatively safe from hostile mobs.
An Efficient Limestone Farming Route
The best way to farm Limestone is to follow the natural elevation of the waterfalls near the starting point. This route is quite manageable because most of the enemies you encounter along the way have a short tether range, meaning you can generally ignore them and they won’t follow you very far. The route essentially breaks down into three vertical sections, each providing a handful of nodes that are easy to spot against the running water.

The Lower Water Nodes
Start your run at the Wizard and head straight toward the sound of the falling water. In this initial lower section, you’ll find the first three nodes.
- The first node is located directly ahead of you as you approach the water.
- The next two nodes are tucked just around the corner, past the small bridge.
- There is often a chest in this area as well, which is worth grabbing if you’re already passing by.

Moving on Up the Waterfall
Once you have cleared the lower area, you’ll need to move up to the next elevation level. Cross the bridge, turn right, and head up the stairs. You might see some mobs here, but as mentioned, they aren’t much of a threat if you keep moving. At the top of the stairs, turn right and cross the second bridge, then take an immediate left. You will find two nodes here—one clearly visible and a second one positioned just below the ledge.

The Upper Waterfall and Final Nodes
The final stretch of the route takes you toward the main waterfall. As you continue straight toward the falls, keep an eye on your right side. You will encounter two separate nodes as you approach the water’s edge.

The last two nodes of the run are located just to the right of the waterfall itself. By the time you finish this loop, you’ll have a solid amount of Limestone without having to engage in any significant combat.
