How to Party Up in WARDOGS
If you’re looking how to Party up in WARDOGS, you’ll want to:
- Open up the Server Browser and confirm a server number with your friends
- Join the Server queue together and attempt to select the same color Faction
- Once you’re on the same team, open up a squad by pressing Escape and pressing “Create a Squad”
- Invite your friends to the Squad or set it to open to allow them (and anyone else) to join freely
What are Squads in WARDOGS?
A Squad is a type of party set-up for players to better communicate and spot each other in the game. in WARDOGS, you have a local voice chat and a squad-only voice chat. As a result, you’ll want to have your friends and party members in a Squad with you to better communicate and not enemies hear you.
How to join a Squad in WARDOGS
As seen above in the previous image, simply press “Escape”. You’ll have a “Create Squad” open at the top or you can simply join an open squad. If the squads are locked including your friends squad, simply have them select you from the “Unassigned Players” list and invite you.
Why should you party up in WARDOGS?
Partying up into a squad helps everyone on the team get a good idea of who is playing with who. With the help of squads, you can quickly identify where each squad is holding up or moving to. Additionally, within your own squad it’s much easier to identify each other due to the gold coloring of your squad mates. If a party member is down, you can see their revive icon as gold instead of green. On the mini-map, your squad members arrows are gold too.
Fastest way to party up in WARDOGS
The fastest way to party up in WARDOGS is to follow these steps:
- Have a friend join a server and the faction of your choice
- Once the friend is inside, make sure they create a squad for the party
- With the squad created, go to your Steam friends list and have all your friends join the player that’s inside the match by right-clicking them
- If done correctly, you’ll auto-join the same server, same Faction (if there’s space) and same squad all at once!
This is currently the fastest way to party up in WARDOGS and get your friends in the same game, faction and squad as soon as possible. Sure beats staring at the server menu or faction menu!
