Where the cash actually comes from

Pretty much everything you do in a match pays. Kills, revives, heals, repairs, spotting, dropping crates, ferrying people about. The base numbers look tiny on their own and that is the whole trick: a kill out in the open is $300. Where you are standing when you do it matters far more than what you did.

Zones are the entire economy

That same $300 kill is worth $1,500 in the Control Zone and $3,000 in the Hot Zone. Kills split the bonus between where you are and where your target is, half each, so dragging a fight into the Hot Zone still pays you for shooting in from outside. Most other actions work the same way, roughly double in the Control Zone and double again in the Hot Zone.

You get paid for just being there

Sitting inside a zone ticks cash on its own, about every 24 seconds. That is $160 a tick in the Control Zone and $320 in the Hot Zone, so about $400 and $800 a minute for holding ground and doing nothing else. Walking into the Control Zone the first time is another $250 on top.

Streaks pay, farming does not

A kill streak adds $50 a kill to your base, up to five deep, and it lands before the zone multiplier, so a streak in the Hot Zone snowballs fast. It cuts the other way too: kill the same player over and over and each repeat knocks 24% off. By the fourth you are on about 4% of the normal payout. Team kills come straight back out of your wallet.

End of match tops you up

Your faction finishing 1st pays $1,000 plus 30% of what you banked during the match. 2nd is $500 plus 25%, 3rd is $250 plus 20%. The cash it counts rounds down in $10,000 chunks, so there is a real cliff at each one and it is worth pushing to 60k rather than parking on 59k.

Quiet servers pay less

Every number scales with how many people are actually in the match. 60 or more and you get full value. At 45 you keep 80%, at 30 you keep 40%, and under 10 players nobody earns anything at all. If your server is not full, drag the Players slider and everything on this page updates with it.

What we are less sure about

Zone ticks are the one number we went back and forth on. We list $160 and $320, which is what actually lands in your wallet, and the roughly 24 second gap between ticks was timed in a match, so treat the per minute figures as close rather than exact.

Anything that depends on what is happening live, like your streak, how many times you have already killed that player, or how many people are in your vehicle, is a slider or a toggle here. Set it to your situation and the number follows.
