The new map
What we know about Sabatulo
Sabatulo is the fourth battleground in WARDOGS and the first one built around a city. The developers describe it as urban warfare and close-quarters combat, while the current maps are valleys, river basins, and farmland.
The first official art shows a hospital signed Sabatulo Clinic, apartment blocks several stories tall, and a concrete tower above wooded hills. Helicopters and paratroopers fill the sky over the town.

Everyone learns the map on the same day, which the developers compare to the Season 1 launch. Our interactive Sabatulo map fills in with towers, control zones, and spawns once the season is out.
How Sabatulo compares to the current maps
| Map | Setting | Terrain |
|---|---|---|
| Bakurani | Eastern European mountain valley | Factory district, forested ridges |
| Ozeti | Western European river basin | Town, football stadium, farmland |
| Zestafona | North American river bend | Warehouses, farmland, woodland |
| Sabatulo | City, region TBC | Hospital, apartment blocks, wooded hills |
Example Scenario: You run a long-range rifle on Ozeti's open farmland. Sightlines on Sabatulo's streets are likely to be shorter, so compare close-range damage on the ballistics page before you settle on a launch loadout.
The other three battlegrounds are already mapped in 2D and 3D. Browse all WARDOGS maps to learn their towers and control zones before the new season starts.
Season 3
What else changes in Season 3
Season 3 launches on November 12, 2026, as confirmed in the Road to Season 3 announcement. The focus is stability and consistency, with no large balance experiments this time.
- New map: Sabatulo, an urban map built for close-quarters fights.
- Longer seasons: seasons now run for about three months, so you have more time before the next wipe.
- Slower early progression: early and midgame progression takes slightly longer, closer to how Season 1 felt.
- Multi-track unlocks: items that suit more than one role unlock on each of those role tracks.
- Limited mode: a second mode with restricted ammo, armor, weapons, and vehicles.
- Anti-cheat: additional anti-cheat layers switch on earlier than first planned.
Progression
Multi-track unlocks
Today every item unlocks on exactly one track, which can push you into a role you never play. From Season 3, an item that suits several roles appears on each of those role tracks.
The developers gave one example: .308 AP ammo sits at level 140 of the career track today. Our .308 Win Armor Piercing (AP) (T) page shows the current requirement of 140 career levels and 75,000 cash.
Example Scenario: You only fly the Little Bird with its minigun and want .308 AP rounds. In Season 3 you can earn them on the Pilot track instead of grinding career levels, at a pilot level that is still TBC.
Exact unlock levels for each track are TBC until the patch notes arrive. Our career unlock table updates once Season 3 is live.
New mode
Limited mode
Limited mode is a second way to play with less power creep, so early and midgame gear stays useful all season. Cash and XP earned there carry over to the default mode, and the other way around.
- Ammo: limited types, such as FMJ only.
- Armor: tier 2 is the highest you can wear.
- Vehicles: a smaller selection, with no Havoc as one example.
- Weapons: a limited set, with the full list still TBC.
If the mode proves popular, it stays for future seasons. Browse the current armor and vehicles to see which tiers it rules out.
Get ready
How to prepare for Season 3
A new season starts progression over, so plan your first kits around what unlocks early. The loadout builder shows the weight and cost of a kit before you buy it.
The patch notes preview is due the week of November 9. Until then, our WARDOGS changelog shows how each update so far has shifted weapons and gear.
