How to Get the Dolabra Blueprint in ARC Raiders
To find the Dolabra Blueprint in ARC Raiders, you need to breach and loot ARC Assessors during the Close Scrutiny map condition – a brand new ARC Operation added in the Flashpoint update. Unlike most weapon blueprints, the Dolabra doesn’t drop from Raider Containers or First Wave Caches. The Assessor is the only source. Each Assessor has three breachable chambers, giving you three shots at the blueprint per Assessor, but the catch is that every breach spawns a wave of ARC including the new Vaporizer enemies. It’s high-risk, high-reward, and on friendly servers you’ll be racing other Raiders to breach chambers before they do. Check the Event Timers to see when Close Scrutiny is active, and use our Interactive Maps to find potential Assessor spawn locations.

Why You Need the Dolabra Blueprint in ARC Raiders

The
Dolabra is a Legendary Energy Shotgun and the first of its kind in ARC Raiders. It uses
Energy Clips instead of regular Shotgun Ammo and features a dual fire mode – hipfire shoots a wide cone of electricity for close-range crowd control, while aiming down sights switches to a focused laser blast that punches through heavy ARC armor plating. It has Strong Armor Penetration, making it incredibly effective against tough enemies like Bastions, Rocketeers, and even Queens and Matriarchs. In PvP it hits just as hard – a couple of well-placed shots at close range can drop another Raider fast, even through the Purple Shield! As a Legendary weapon it can’t be upgraded or modded, but it doesn’t need to be. Check the Loadouts page for build ideas pairing the Dolabra with a mid-range primary.
Where to Find the Dolabra Blueprint in ARC Raiders
The Dolabra Blueprint drops exclusively from ARC Assessor containers during the Close Scrutiny ARC Operation. Close Scrutiny is a major map condition that rotates across all Rust Belt maps, similar to Hurricane or Night Raid. When it’s active, Assessors will deploy onto the map throughout the raid – these are massive platform-like machines that drop from the sky after being called in by a Surveyor. Once landed, an Assessor lights up with a tall red beam shooting into the sky. The general loot across the rest of the map is reduced during this condition, but the Assessors themselves hold the valuable rewards.

Here’s a tip that’ll give you an edge: don’t wait for the red beam. Before the Assessor actually lands, the Surveyor calling it in produces a beam with yellow pulse waves traveling upward. This beam is short-lived, but if you catch it, you get a massive head start on every other Raider who’s waiting for the red laser to appear. That early sprint is often the difference between breaching a chamber and watching someone else grab the loot.

Assessors aren’t a one-and-done event either. Multiple Assessors deploy throughout a single raid, so if you miss one or don’t get the blueprint, reposition toward the center of the map and watch the sky for the next Surveyor beam. We’ve added potential Assessor spawn locations to our Interactive Maps, so check those before loading in to know which areas to stick near.

How to Breach the Assessor and Loot the Dolabra Blueprint
Each Assessor has three loot chambers spread across its legs, but they unlock one at a time. After landing, there’s about 10 second delay before the first chamber opens. You’ll know a chamber is active when a platform extends beneath it (letting you stand there). A small Blue light appears above the Breach slot when that container is active – if you don’t smoke it off too early, you’ll be able to spot it.

The moment you breach a chamber, a massive ARC wave spawns – expect multiple Vaporizers, Rocketeers, and smaller ARC units swarming the area. This means going for all three chambers solo without gear is basically impossible – the waves are too heavy… Unless you go on a Naked Run, but more on that later! On friendly servers, geared players usually handle the waves naturally, which lets the cycle continue through all three chambers.

The blueprint isn’t a guaranteed drop from any single chamber, but the drop rate is relatively generous compared to other Legendary blueprints. Some players have reported finding it within their first couple of Close Scrutiny runs. With three chambers per Assessor and multiple Assessors per raid, your odds stack up fast (if you bring enough Smoke Grenades and Bandages).
Best Strategies for Farming the Dolabra Blueprint in ARC Raiders
There are two main approaches to farming the Dolabra Blueprint, and which one you pick depends on whether you want speed or safety.
The naked speed run is the go-to on friendly servers where Assessor farming is basically a footrace. Drop in with nothing but 2x
Smoke Grenades and 4-5x
Adrenaline Shots. Sprint toward the Assessor, pick one of the three legs and commit to it – don’t scramble between them. When your chamber unlocks, throw the smoke at the base of the compartment for cover while you breach and loot. If you find the blueprint, Safe Pocket it immediately, surrender, and requeue. If not, reposition for the next Assessor. This approach is cheap, fast to repeat, and the way most people are farming it right now.

The Photoelectric Cloak approach is for players who want a stealthier option. The Cloak makes you invisible to ARC, letting you approach and breach chambers without drawing aggro from the Vaporizer waves. You can run it with a full PvE loadout if you want to fight through all three chambers, or use a simpler trick: keep the Cloak in your Safe Pocket, use it freely for stealth breaches, and when you find the blueprint, swap it into the Safe Pocket in place of the Cloak. You lose one Cloak, but you walk away with the Dolabra Blueprint. The Cloak method is more forgiving, but it’s slower and more expensive to repeat than naked runs.

Crafting the Dolabra in ARC Raiders

Once you’ve extracted the
Dolabra Blueprint, you’ll need a Tier 3 Gunsmith Workbench and these materials to craft it:
3x
Shredder Gyro (from killing Shredders, now on all maps),
3x
Magnetic Accelerator (found in Stella Montis or as guaranteed drops from Queens and Matriarchs), and
2x
Vaporizer Regulator (from the new Vaporizer enemy during Close Scrutiny).
You’ll likely pick up Vaporizer Regulators naturally while farming Assessors for the blueprint, but don’t sell them – they’re also needed for the High Gain Antenna project. The Dolabra uses Energy Clips for ammo, which you can craft at your Workbench or buy from Tian Wen.
Tips for Getting the Dolabra Blueprint in ARC Raiders
1. Watch for yellow pulse waves, not the red beam. The Surveyor beam with yellow pulse waves appears before the Assessor lands and tells you exactly where it’s going to touch down. Most Raiders don’t react until the red laser is already in the sky, which means the Assessor has landed and people are already there. Spotting the yellow pulses early is the single biggest advantage you can give yourself when farming the Dolabra Blueprint.
2. Pick a leg and don’t move. When you reach the Assessor, stand on one of its three legs (in the smoke) and wait for the chamber to unlock. You’ve got roughly a 1-in-3 chance that yours opens first. If you start running between legs chasing whichever one looks like it might open, you’ll almost certainly arrive too late. Commit to your spot.
3. Safe Pocket the blueprint before anything else. The second you see the Dolabra Blueprint in the container, put it in your Safe Pocket. Don’t loot other items first, don’t check what else is in there. Safe Pocket it, surrender, and requeue. The Assessor area is chaos after a breach and you don’t want to lose it to a Vaporizer or another Raider.

4. Use the Interactive Maps to position early. We’ve added Assessor spawn locations to our Interactive Maps. Knowing where Assessors tend to land on each map lets you start closer to the action and cuts down on the sprint time that can make or break your farming runs.
