How to spot and tag an enemy player in WARDOGS
First, to start spotting, you’ll need one of the few Recon equipment made for the task. These are:
Once you have one of the above equipped, you can start spotting for your team. Aim your spotting tool by right-clicking, this will scope you in. Next, hover over a target you can see through the scope.
If you’ve correctly found a target, the spotting tool begins a tracking sequence. Once the rectangle around the reticule is full, the enemy player or vehicle becomes spotted. This tag reveals the player or vehicle on the map and the range between you. Personally, you’ll also see a colored tag above their head, making it easier for you to notice them.
Opening the map with “M” shows the real-time position and the range of the tagged enemy. As a result, you can zero in a Sniper Rifle or Mortars for deadly precision. Giving this information to your team is exactly why spotting in WARDOGS is so powerful.
