StarRupture

The Pressure Tank blueprint is located inside a chest within the main Control Center of the Forgotten Engine landmark. This is one of the first major “dungeons” in the game. You can see the massive structure from your starting ship, but reaching the blueprint requires a craftable Power Cell and a journey through the engine’s unpowered logistics levels.

Where to Find the Pressure Tank Blueprint in StarRupture

To find the Pressure Tank blueprint, you must infiltrate the Forgotten Engine, descend to the Logistics level to restart the backup generator, and then return to the main floor to unlock the Control Center (Sector A-1).

ingame map

1. Craft a Power Cell and Locate the Entrance

The Forgotten Engine is a massive landmark visible from your starting Orbital Lander. Head toward the left side of the structure. You are looking for a specific gap that leads to a terminal. Before you leave your base, ensure you have crafted a Power Cell. Use the cell at the terminal to gain access to the emergency pod and grab the access card found inside to enter the facility proper.

2. Enter the Emergency Pod and Navigate the Interior

Once you are inside, the main map will no longer work because the area is an instance. You will need to rely on the maps posted on the walls for navigation. Your goal is the Control Center in Sector A-1. As you move through the musty corridors, loot every body, chest, and rubble pile you find. You will need to collect four specific items from these sources if you plan to fully restart the engine at a later stage.

3. Descend to the Logistics Level

When you reach the door to the Control Center, you will find it is currently unpowered. To turn the power back on, you must head to the stairs located behind you and descend to the Logistics level.

Be prepared to encounter aliens and blue infection spores. I suggest taking it slow and clearing the spores as you go to prevent the infection from draining your shields.

4. Clear the Cooling Station and Reach the Generator

The path to the generator is often blocked by infection. After clearing out the spores and aliens, head straight down the corridor until you see the sign for the backup generator. Follow the directions shown by the sign. We suggest throwing a grenade into the Cooling Station area; this is the most efficient way to clear out the swarm of aliens waiting there. Once the station is clear, sprint down the corridor to the left to enter the generator room.

5. Restart the Generator and Restore Power

In the backup generator room, the infection is thick enough to drain your shield instantly. Clear the spores surrounding the generator immediately to restore visibility and stop the shield drain. Once you activate the generator, the air will clear. Head back to the stairs on the left side of the map. There is a crafting station here if you need to make food or ammo before heading back up to the main floor.

6. Loot the Control Center

With the power restored, return to the Control Center door in Sector A-1. Open the door and make sure to close it behind you to prevent any wandering aliens from following you inside. In the center of this large room, you will find a chest. Open it to retrieve the Pressure Tank Blueprint. There is also a Condenser blueprint and various logs in this area that are worth grabbing before you depart.
