The Tube blueprint is found inside a storage container within the abandoned structure at the pink gorge, located Northwest of the initial starting ship.

With StarRupture entering Early Access today, players are quickly realizing that progression is tied to finding these physical schematics in the world. The Tube is a core component, so you’ll want to prioritize this run early on.

Navigating to the Destination

Since base locations vary depending on where you decided to set up, we will use the starting ship as our universal landmark. There are 4 locations for the Tube Blueprint as shown by our Interactive Map. We went to the one to the West as it was the closest one.

  • From the crash site, head directly Northwest.
  • It is a very straightforward run across the terrain toward the pink gorge.
  • Look for a structure sticking out of the landscape in front of you—that is the abandoned base and your target destination.

Preparation: Inventory and Ammo

I wouldn’t recommend heading out there without a bit of prep. In my opinion, it’s better to spend two minutes at your base preparing than to die out in the gorge and have to run back for your corpse.

Inventory and gear
  • Empty Your Inventory: Make sure your inventory is as empty as possible before you leave. There is a lot of loot here, and you’ll want to grab as much as you can in one trip.
  • Pistol Ammo: Bring a significant amount of ammo. There are quite a few aliens that will spawn once you reach the structure, and you don’t want to be forced into melee combat.

Clearing the Perimeter

As you approach the base, take your time. The aliens here tend to swarm, so a “shoot and scoot” tactic is best. Fire off a few rounds, then run back while reloading to keep distance between you and the spawns. Repeat this until everything in the immediate area is dead. Keep an eye out even after the initial wave, as stragglers often hang around.

Entering the Abandoned Base

You can’t just walk into the front of this building. To get inside, you’ll need to use the terrain:

Blueprint Building
  1. Climb the hill located right next to the building.
  2. Jump from the hill directly into the structure.
  3. Once inside, be careful, as more aliens are likely to spawn as you move through the building.
Access point

Note: You can activate the Audiocomms. These logs provide some flavor text about what happened to the previous crew at this abandoned base, which adds a bit of grounded lore to the experience.

Looting the Tube Blueprint

After clearing the internal spawns, look for the storage containers on the second level. This is where you will find the Tube Blueprint.

StarRupture Tube Blueprint

Once you have the blueprint, don’t leave just yet. Head downstairs to loot the remaining containers and the body found there. Between the blueprint, the Warbonds, and the extra scrap, it’s a very profitable trip for a Day 1 player. Just make sure everything is dead before you focus on looting so you don’t get caught off guard.
