Where to Find the Stator Blueprint in StarRupture

The Stator blueprint is located on the top floor of the abandoned Griffith’s Research Outpost, directly North of the starting ship.

With StarRupture entering Early Access today, players are finding out that the Stator is a bottleneck for early power systems and motors. Since base locations vary between players, we’ll be using the starting ship (the Orbital Lander) as our primary landmark for this run.

Finding the Abandoned Base

This is one of the more visible locations from the start of the game. If you stand at your ship and look Directly North, you should see the silhouette of the outpost in the distance. There are actually 3 locations for the Stator Blueprint as shown on our Interactive Map. The one to the North was the closest and our choice.

The walk is simple enough, but you should still prepare. I generally suggest emptying your inventory before you leave base. There are quite a few containers and rubble piles to loot once you arrive, and you don’t want to be forced into making choices about what to leave behind.

Combat and Strategy

Expect a handful of aliens to be guarding the facility. My personal preference is to take the high ground—it makes the fight much easier and keeps you out of reach of the basic melee enemies.

Make sure you bring your weapon and enough ammo. While the fight isn’t impossible, it’s best not to be stingy with your shots. You can loot the dead bodies after killing the aliens for Warbonds and other materials that will help offset the cost of the ammo you spent.

Navigating the Outpost

Once the exterior is clear, focus on the structures.

1. Loot the ground-level containers and rubble piles first to maximize your haul.
2. Identify the main building. Our blueprint is in the next building over on the top floor.
3. To reach it, you will need to jump across from the adjacent structure.

A word of caution: Jumping across the gap usually triggers an alien spawn. They can sometimes jump up to your level, so don’t assume you’re safe just because you have some height. Take care of them immediately before you go back to looting.

Securing the Stator Blueprint

Once the interior is clear, you will find the Stator Blueprint in a blue storage chest on that top floor. With this in hand, you’ve cleared the main objective. Grab any remaining loot from the surrounding crates and you’re good to head back to base to start your next tier of automation.
