StarRupture

The Electromagnetic Coil blueprint is located inside the final treasure room of the “Redleaf” outpost (CRFHSRB), situated in the far Northeast corner of the map.

With StarRupture entering Early Access today, players are hitting a wall when it comes to advanced power and motor components. The Electromagnetic Coil is a major part of that progression. To get it, you’ll need to complete a multi-stage puzzle involving four separate access cards at a heavily fortified satellite base.

Preparation: The Long Journey North

Using the starting ship as your landmark, head Far Northeast to the very top of the map. This is a significant trek, and the area you’re heading into is quite large. There is only 1 location for this blueprint as shown by our Interactive Map.

I strongly recommend building a temporary habitat just outside the facility. You’ll be doing a lot of fighting, and having a local spawn point—and a place to hide if a Ruptura firestorm approaches—is non-negotiable for a run this long.

Phase 1: The Redleaf Override Access Card

You cannot open any of the keycard buildings without the master “Redleaf Override Access” keycard.

Redleaf Keycard
  1. Jump down into the facility and move through the gap to the right.
  2. Combat Tip: There are dozens of aliens here. I suggest drawing them into the narrow choke point near the gap and killing them there so you don’t get flanked.
Choke point
  1. Once clear, head to the red building on the left.
  2. Jump across the gap to the adjacent structure to find the Redleaf Override Access Card. This is the “master key” that lets you hunt for the other three.

Phase 2: The Three Sector Cards

With the Redleaf card in hand, you need to collect the remaining three security clearances. Note that aliens will often respawn in the middle area once you leave a sector, so stay alert when backtracking.

  • Keycard 1 (Left Sector): From the central satellite, head left. Fight through the spawns, unlock the building, and grab the card from the desk.
  • Keycard 2 (Upper Sector): Head toward the building you passed earlier when you first entered. Open the door, loot the room, and secure the second card.
  • Keycard 3 (Right Sector): Head to the far right area. Look for the two buildings; the one on the left has a ladder. Head to the second floor, jump over to the dead body for extra loot, then check the table in the second building for the final access card.

Phase 3: The Treasure Room

Now that you have all the keys, return to the middle area.

  1. Head back to the central locked door.
Door location
  1. Insert all keycards to unlock the final room.
Where to insert keycards
  1. Safety Advice: Close the door behind you once you enter. Aliens will likely be spawning outside, and you don’t want them interrupting your loot session.
  2. Loot the containers and activate the audiocom to learn more about the facility’s history. The Electromagnetic Coil Blueprint is inside the main chest.
