StarRupture

In StarRupture, blueprints are exclusively found inside blue storage chests tucked away within abandoned corporate outposts. These locations are marked with a house icon on your map, but getting to the loot isn’t always as simple as walking through the front door. You’ll often need to look for alternate entrances, such as jumping in through a damaged roof or navigating hidden side paths.

While these bases are scattered all over Arcadia-7, your early-game progression will likely start at the “Purple Haze” mining base, where you can secure essential schematics like the Rotor and Tube. Other more advanced blueprints are located in high-tier areas like the Forgotten Engine, which require more preparation to survive.

StarRupture Blueprint Locations

The world is divided into several sectors, each housing different derelict facilities that correspond to specific tiers of technology. Generally speaking, the closer a blueprint is to your starting Orbital Lander, the more “essential” it is for early-game survival, while those found further away are guarded by high-threat alien variants and environmental hazards like infection clouds.

When heading out to any of the locations listed below, I strongly suggest bringing a surplus of pistol ammo and clearing out your inventory. Most of these outposts contain more than just the primary blueprint; you’ll often find War Bonds, crafting materials, and audio logs that fill in the gaps of the planet’s history.

Interactive Map Blueprint Locations

1. Rotor Blueprint

The Rotor blueprint is located inside an abandoned structure within the pink gorge, situated Northwest of your starting ship.

2. Tube Blueprint

The Tube blueprint is found inside a storage container within the abandoned structure at the pink gorge, located Northwest of the initial starting ship.

3. Stator Blueprint

The Stator blueprint is located on the top floor of the abandoned Griffith’s Research Outpost, directly North of the starting ship.

Players are finding out that the Stator is a bottleneck for early power systems and motors. Since base locations vary between players, we’ll be using the starting ship (the Orbital Lander) as our primary landmark for this run.

4. Stabilizer Blueprint

The StarRupture Stabilizer blueprint is found at the top of a tower in an abandoned research outpost located Northeast of the starting ship.

This blueprint is located in a high-threat “Infection” zone, so you’ll need more than just a pistol to get through it safely.

5. Valve Blueprint

The Valve blueprint is located on the top floor of the Selenian’s Research Outpost, found by heading far East from your starting ship.

Players are realizing that liquid management and gas transport are impossible without the Valve. While this run takes you a fair distance from the starting zone, the outpost itself is relatively small and easy to navigate compared to the more infected zones.

6. Chemicals Blueprint

The StarRupture Chemicals blueprint location is at the Clever Robotics Research Outpost, which can be found by traveling far east from your starting ship.

To unlock this, you’ll need to head to one of the more dangerous outposts in the eastern sector.

7. Electronics Blueprint

The Electronics blueprint is located on the top floor of a triple-story building at the Selenian’s Mining Base, situated far East of your starting ship.

Players are finding that Electronics are a major hurdle for high-tier automation. While the trek is long, this blueprint is essential for progressing with the more advanced Corporations. You can also refer to our Interactive Map for the pixel-perfect coordinates.

8. Hardening Agent Blueprint

The Hardening Agent Blueprint is found at the IRO Secret Outpost, located near the giant thruster wreckage.

Players are discovering that Hardening Agents are essential for high-tier structural components and advanced factory machines. Unlike the early-game blueprints, this one is tucked away in a more vertical, hazardous area of the map.

9. Synthetic Silicon Blueprint

The Synthetic Silicon blueprint location is within the Clever Robotics Research Outpost, found by traveling far north past the calcium fields.

It’s quite a hike to get there, but if you follow the landmarks, the facility itself is easy to spot.

10. Turbine Blueprint

The Turbine blueprint is located behind a triple-locked door in a high-security facility at the far Northeast corner of the map.

Players are finding that power generation becomes a priority very quickly. The Turbine is essential for scaling your energy grid, but getting the blueprint is a significant undertaking involving a four-part keycard hunt.

11. Electromagnetic Coil Blueprint

The Electromagnetic Coil blueprint is located inside the final treasure room of the “Redleaf” outpost (CRFHSRB), situated in the far Northeast corner of the map.

Players are hitting a wall when it comes to advanced power and motor components. The Electromagnetic Coil is a major part of that progression. To get it, you’ll need to complete a multi-stage puzzle involving four separate access cards at a heavily fortified satellite base.

12. Condenser Blueprint

The Condenser Blueprint is located inside the Forgotten Engine, one of the most challenging areas in StarRupture. This massive structure is visible from the starting area near the orbital lander and requires careful navigation through infected corridors to reach the Control Center where the blueprint awaits.

13. Laser Emitter Blueprint

The Laser Emitter blueprint is located inside the Technical Lab of the “Forgotten Engine” landmark, a massive derelict terraforming machine visible from the starting area. Reaching this blueprint is one of the more involved “dungeon” runs you’ll encounter, requiring a craftable Power Cell and a full navigation of the engine’s interior.

14. Pressure Tank Blueprint

The Pressure Tank blueprint is located inside a chest within the main Control Center of the Forgotten Engine landmark. This is one of the first major “dungeons” in the game. You can see the massive structure from your starting ship, but reaching the blueprint requires a craftable Power Cell and a journey through the engine’s unpowered logistics levels.

15. Scanner Blueprint

The Scanner blueprint is found inside the Technical Lab of the Forgotten Engine, a massive terraforming machine landmark. Navigating this giant structure is more like a traditional dungeon crawl than a simple loot run. You will need to craft a Power Cell at your base before heading out, as the engine’s entrance is locked behind a dead terminal.
