Finally Made It Out Description
First time writing a ranger report so I’m sorry if this is wrong or bad.
42 asked me to join him, 510, and 451 on a mission. I said yes before I knew we were going to the termite nest. Also didn’t know it was a rescue mission to find 707. Apparently he's 42’s brother-in-law? Rough. If I'd known we were rescuing 707, I would have called in sick.
The termites barely paid attention to us, so we had an easy time at first. We found 707's audiologs. They were pretty weird. Guess the guy went crazy in there.
Then we got separated. Or they just left without me. Once I realized, I followed my training: retrace your steps back to the entrance and wait for your fellow rangers to locate you.
This works when you know where you are. But I ended up someplace new, and saw the biggest, nastiest termite yet (I think it was a king) fighting six soldiers. The soldiers pushed it back into a small chamber and walled it up. Then they noticed me.
They got me pretty good. I poked one in the head so hard it exploded, and the rest backed off. For now. I bandaged myself up best I could but will need a medic to take a look.
Alright, legs are getting numb, gotta go. I'll finish this report when I get back to the outpost. Or maybe wait here a bit longer. Catch my breath.
