Where to Find Discord Bow in Grounded 2 (Hidden Toxic Tangle Weapon)
Discord is a hidden bow introduced in the Toxic Tangle update for Grounded 2. This secret weapon is found high above the Pumpkin Patch area and requires careful platforming using vines, leaves, and spider webs, along with a Tier 3 Omni Axe to access.
How to Get the Discord Bow
Step 1: Prepare the Required Tools
Before heading out, make sure you have the following unlocked:
- Tier 3 Omni Axe
- Orb Weaver Buggy
The Tier 3 Omni Axe is required to break weak pumpkin and wooden barriers along the route. The Orb Weaver Buggy makes traversal easier during certain sections, although some jumps are best done on foot.
Step 2: Start at the Pumpkin Patch Ranger Outpost
Begin at the Pumpkin Patch Ranger Outpost.
From the outpost, climb onto the small vine directly in front of you, then jump onto the nearby pumpkin. From here, carefully follow the pumpkin’s surface upward.
Use the interactive Grounded 2 map to help orient yourself within the Pumpkin Patch and surrounding areas.
Step 3: Climb Through the Pumpkin Patch
As you climb, jump onto nearby leaves and follow the visible spider webs. Continue moving upward until you reach a wooden block just below the Pumpkin Patch area.
Follow the wooden path along the vine, then jump onto a leaf and cross another spider web that leads toward the brick wall. Run along the wall and continue following spider webs and vines as they guide you higher.
It is strongly recommended to do this section during the main story quest, as you naturally travel this route while restoring power. Doing so prevents you from needing to return here later.
Step 4: Break Into the Marked Pumpkin
Continue following the vines until you reach a pumpkin with a visible black mark on it.
Use your Tier 3 Omni Axe to break open this weak spot. Inside, defeat the Rust Beetle and Orb Weaver before continuing.
Once cleared, get back onto your Orb Weaver Buggy and move through the pumpkin, crossing the spider web inside.
Step 5: Reach the Hidden Path
On the far side of the pumpkin, you will find another weak spot. Get off your buggy and break it open using your Tier 3 Omni Axe.
When you exit the pumpkin, look slightly to your left and jump onto the nearby leaf. From here, dismount your buggy to make precise movement easier.
Jump onto the vine ahead, climb upward, then turn around and run-jump onto a nearby leaf. You should now see wooden splinters blocking the path.
Step 6: Break the Wood and Collect Discord
Use your Tier 3 Omni Axe to break through the wooden splinters. Then climb up the vine until you find a hidden area and just leaning against the wall, you’ll find the hidden bow Discord.
Pick it up to add it to your inventory and equip it to see its unique design.
