Where To Find Hedge Optical Disk in Grounded 2 (Toxic Tangle)
The Hedge Optical Disk in Grounded 2 is found high up inside the Hedge, located in the top-right area of the map behind the Park Bench. You must be playing on the Toxic Tangle update to access it, and the quickest route starts from the Park Bench Ranger Outpost using an Orb Weaver Buggy.
How to Get the Hedge Optical Disk
Step 1: Start at the Park Bench Ranger Outpost
Begin at the Park Bench Ranger Outpost, which is positioned directly below the Hedge in the upper-right section of the map. This is the closest Ranger Outpost to the Optical Disk and significantly reduces travel time.

Before leaving, make sure you are riding an Orb Weaver Buggy. This makes navigation through the Hedge much easier and allows you to avoid or ignore most enemy encounters along the way.
From the outpost, face toward the Hedge in the distance and head straight in that direction.
Step 2: Travel Under the Hedge
Follow the natural ground path that leads underneath the Hedge. This route is straightforward and safe, with no difficult jumps or hazards.
As you move forward, you’ll see the Hedge above you and spider web structures beginning to appear. Keep heading toward the base of the Hedge until you reach the first climbable branches.
Step 3: Climb the First Web and Branch Path
Climb up the first branch you encounter, then turn back onto the connecting branch behind you. You’ll see spider webs stretched across the gap ahead.
Cross the webs and move up the web ramp directly in front of you. Continue straight toward the next visible web section in the distance.
You may encounter Orb Weavers or an Orb Weaver Junior here. Fighting them is optional, as you can safely run past them and continue climbing.
Step 4: Take the Right-Hand Web Path
When the web path splits, take the right-hand route. Follow it forward until you reach a small opening in the Hedge.
This section is very forgiving, so take your time and move carefully. Once through the opening, turn right again to continue upward.
Step 5: Jump to the Upper Branch
After turning right, you’ll see another spider web ramp leading upward. Run forward and jump from the web onto the nearby branch.
This jump lets you bypass several Orb Weavers below and keeps the route quick and safe. Once you’re on the branch, look to your left.
There can occasionally be a Wolf Spider in this area, so be cautious before moving forward.
Step 6: Collect the Hedge Optical Disk
Near the top, you’ll find a small rummage pile next to a body containing items such as spider bait, lingonberry bandages, and a granola bar.
Right beside this loot is the Hedge Optical Disk. Stay mounted on your Orb Weaver Buggy when picking it up, as dismounting can cause you to get stuck in the webs.
Step 7: Return to a Ranger Outpost
After collecting the disk, drop straight down to ground level. While riding the spider, fall damage is minimal, making this a safe and fast way back down.
Head to any Ranger Outpost and insert the disk into the Ranger Shop terminal to claim your rewards.

This is one of the most valuable early-game Optical Disks and is well worth collecting before progressing too far into the main story.
