Grounded 2

The Crimson Reapers are a pair of hidden daggers introduced in the Toxic Tangle update for Grounded 2. These secret weapons are found inside a corrupted pumpkin near the Greenhouse area and require both a Tier 3 Omni Axe and the Ladybug Buggy to obtain.

How to Get the Crimson Reapers

Step 1: Prepare the Required Tools

Before heading out, make sure you have the following unlocked:

The Tier 3 Omni Axe is required to break open the corrupted pumpkin, while the Ladybug Buggy is necessary to clear the corrosion inside. If you do not yet have the Ladybug Buggy, you will need to unlock it first before attempting to collect this weapon.

Step 2: Start at the Greenhouse Ranger Outpost

Begin at the Greenhouse Ranger Outpost.

From here, head south toward the pumpkin patch. Use the interactive Grounded 2 map to help orient yourself and locate the correct pumpkin.

Mount your Ladybug Buggy and begin travelling toward the marked pumpkin location.

Step 3: Reach the Correct Pumpkin

As you travel south from the Greenhouse Ranger Outpost, follow a straightforward path. Jump over the hose pipe, move underneath the wooden plank, and continue forward along the trail.

You will eventually reach a pumpkin with a visible purple marker on it, indicating an important point of interest. This is the pumpkin you are looking for.

Step 4: Break Open the Pumpkin

On the side of the pumpkin, look for a black corrupted spot.

Use your Tier 3 Omni Axe to break this open. Once inside, you’ll notice heavy corrosion blocking access further into the pumpkin.

Step 5: Clear the Corrosion Using the Ladybug Buggy

Once inside the pumpkin, mount your Ladybug Buggy and use its water cannon to remove the corrosion blocking the interior.

As you clear the corrosion, you will encounter Black Ants inside the pumpkin. Defeat them and continue clearing until a path opens toward the back of the pumpkin.

Step 6: Collect the Crimson Reapers

At the back of the pumpkin interior, you will find a small table. The Crimson Reapers are resting on top of it.

Before leaving, make sure to open the nearby chest on the right, which contains Unstable Goo that can be researched. You can also dig in the area for a pumpkin seed, although this is optional.

Pick up the Crimson Reapers to add them to your inventory.

Crimson Reapers Weapon Overview

The Crimson Reapers are dual-wield daggers designed for aggressive melee playstyles. They deal slashing damage and feature the Reaping Blades effect, which heals a percentage of your maximum health whenever you defeat an enemy.

With the right build and proper upgrades, these daggers can perform extremely well in close-quarters combat.
