Employee 502 – Raw Science Research Division
I arrived early in the morning to confirm reports of a “glowing fissure” filed by field agents. After witnessing the fissure firsthand, I immediately sent out a request for an observation deck module to be installed.
It seems to be a naturally occurring fissure, about two centimeters long, and there are no signs of foul play or external intervention. This will need to be monitored closely. Flooding the area for containment is not sustainable this close to the surface.
I’ll send note to all rangers in the vicinity: we need to keep our eyes peeled for more fissures. If we were to miss one for too long… I fear the worst.
