Exploring the First Ranger Outpost in Grounded 2

Getting started in Grounded 2 is much harder than what we experienced in the original Grounded. As you make your first steps in Grounded 2 you will be tasked to get into the First Ranger Outpost and answer the phone.

Inside the Ranger Outpost you will come across the Omni Tool, this is going to come in extremely handy as you progress through the game.

Your quest in the First Ranger Outpost is to Answer the Call… again! However the Telephone is behind a locked door.

To access that room, first you will need to head back out of the ranger outpost and head behind it. Follow it around and you should now see a new quest icon leading you into the hill.

Once you’ve entered the hill it will lead you down and back towards the Rangers Outpost where you will find broken glass and an entry into the locked room where you will be able to answer the phone and compete the quest!
