Exploring the Fire Pit in Grounded 2

The Fire Pit in Grounded 2 is one of many Points of Interest in the Park. As the name might suggest, you’ll need to bring the appropriate gear to survive the heat. As a result, make sure to bring the following:

• Sizzling Circlet
• Sizzling Robes
• Sizzling Boots
• Sizzle Resistant Smoothie

Entering the Fire Pit

Entering the Fire Pit takes a bit of searching around the outside, but to save you some time, the easier entrance is on the side facing north. You’ll find a toy soldier holding up his gun – you can climb on this to get inside the Pit easily.

Inside the Fire Pit

In most corners of the Fire Pit, you’ll find various upgrade materials – it’s important to harvest as many of these as possible.

You’ll also notice there is a lot of lava-like substance, make sure to avoid that at all costs as it’ll instantly fill your Sizzle meter and deal considerable damage. In the center of the Fire Pit, you can grab yourself some Raw Science on a branch too.

Heading to the top of the Fire Pit in Grounded 2

After gathering the materials, fighting off multiple smaller Cockroaches and surviving the elements down below, there’s only one place left to check – above!

Fortunately, reaching the top is as straightforward as following this massive wooden plank upward. Once you reach the top, you’ll be face to face with a Cockroach Queen. This behemoth can be a handful to take down AND has attacks that push you. As a result, be very careful about your positioning – unless you want to fall!

Once you’ve defeated the Cockroach Queen at the top, next to a Billy Hog, you’ll find a Mega Molar as your reward for clearing the Fire Pit! Currently, there is not much else in this point of interest. However, check back frequently as more updates hit the game!
