The Heat Shield Blueprint is located on the second floor of the highest building at the MRB “High Rock” outpost, which is found by traveling directly South from your starting ship. Getting your hands on this schematic is essential for surviving the harsher environments on Arcadia-7, and thankfully, the trek is relatively straightforward if you don’t mind a bit of a climb.
Where to Find the Heat Shield Blueprint in StarRupture
To secure this blueprint, you will need to navigate the vertical layout of the MRB “High Rock” outpost. The base is built into the terrain, requiring you to follow a specific path up a series of stairs to reach the top. It is a quiet run if you time it correctly, which I personally appreciate since it means I don’t have to waste resources on an avoidable firefight.
1. Heading South to MRB High Rock
Since everyone sets up their base in a different spot, you should always use the starting ship as your primary landmark. From the ship, set your heading due South. You are looking for an outpost known as MRB “High Rock”. Once you arrive at the starting location at the bottom of the facility, look for the stairs to begin your ascent into the base.
2. Timing Your Run After a Rupture
The absolute best time to make this run is right after a Rupture has passed. In my opinion, it’s much better to let the planet’s weather do the hard work for you. Doing this immediately post-rupture means there will be no aliens to fight. You can casually head into each building along the path and grab all the loot without being bothered by swarms.
3. Climbing to the Highest Building
To reach your destination, just continue going up by following the main path. Your ultimate goal is the highest building in the entire complex. Toward the top, the path gets a little rough. You will need to jump up a set of broken stairs that lead to an elevated platform above the rest of the facility.
4. Securing the Heat Shield Blueprint
Once you make it up to that final platform, look at the building directly in front of you. Head inside and make your way to the second floor. You can grab the loose loot in this building first, or you can secure the blueprint and come back for the scraps afterward. Open the chest on the second floor, and you will have successfully found the Heat Shield Blueprint.
