Where to Find the Explosive Charge Blueprint in StarRupture
To secure the Explosive Charge blueprint, you must travel North to the MECGBCRB “Hound Dog” outpost. While the trek is relatively short, the building is often crawling with hostiles unless you time your arrival strategically.
1. Navigating to MECGBCRB “Hound Dog”
Since base locations vary, we will use the starting ship as our universal landmark. Head directly North across the terrain. You are looking for a cluster of industrial ruins known as MECGBCRB “Hound Dog”. It is a prominent location, and the five-story building is easily visible as you approach the perimeter.
2. Strategic Preparation and Timing
I highly recommend timing your arrival for the window immediately following a Rupture. During this brief period, the local alien population is temporarily cleared out, allowing you to walk into the building without a fight. Regardless of when you go, it is a smart move to build a small forward habitat nearby. This ensures you have a safe place to take cover if the weather turns or if you need to manage your inventory.
3. Entering the Five-Story Building and Securing the Explosive Charge Blueprint
Once you reach the outpost, identify the tall, five-story structure. Head up the stairs to the upper platform where the door to the building is. While running around the area, keep an eye out for loose loot and rubble piles; there are usually a few extra resources scattered around that make the trip even more profitable. The Explosive Charge Blueprint is located in a primary blueprint chest on the ground floor. Once you have retrieved it, you can return to your base to begin crafting high-yield demolition charges. These are essential for the next tier of exploration on Arcadia-7.
